Green Bay, Wis. (WHBL-Learfield) - The Green Bay Packers will have some fresh bodies on defense at practice today. Corner Al Harris and safety Atari Bigby were cleared yesterday. They spent the first six weeks of the season on the physically-unable-to-perform list. The Packers now have three weeks to decide whether to activate Harris and Bigby, or whether to cut them or place them on injured reserve. But the coaches say there’s a chance that both veterans could play on Sunday night against Minnesota, if they do well enough at practice this week. Harris is coming off torn knee ligaments from last November. Bigby had ankle surgery at the start of this summer’s training camp. Meanwhile, rookie running back James Starks remains on the “PUP” list. The Packers have until November ninth to decide if he’ll return to practice. Also yesterday, the Packers released practice squad running back James Johnson. They did not name a replacement.
